In the first two weeks of November, 11 people were killed including two women, and eleven people were forcibly disappeared from different parts of Balochistan, one of whom was later released but the rest are still missing.
Azmat Khan, a resident of district Naseerabad, killed his sister Khurshid Bibi, 18, and a 22-year-old man Abdul Samad in the name of honor on November 02. Another woman was found dead on Rehman Kahul Road in the Chaman district on November 07. Her bullet- riddled body was later shifted to the Chaman DHQ hospital. The identity of the woman and the perpetrators remained unknown at the time of this report.
Furthermore, two dead bodies were found in districts Panjgur and Naseerabad. A local death squad member Javed Hassan was allegedly found dead in district Panjgur on November 11. Moreover, a decomposed body was found near the Usta Mohammad Cricket Stadium in district Naseerabad on November 10. The body was beyond recognition.Ghulam Jan, a resident of Panjgur, was gunned down by militants of the Baloch Republican Army (BRA), a militant group which aims to gain independence for Balochistan. In a media statement, the spokesperson for the group said that Ghulam Jan was facilitating the military in operations. Meanwhile, the secretary of Anjuman-E-Tajran of Pashin, Allah Dad Tareen, was gunned down in district Pashin by unknown people.
Moreover, during six straight days of a military operation in Buleda, district Kech, Fazal, Ragam and Abdul Karim were whisked away by security forces on November 03.
In another incident, forces whisked away a student Sanaullah from Chitkan Bazar of district Panjgur. On November 06, in a military raid, Pakistani intelligence officials abducted Haroon Raheem along with his son, Madad Haroon, from Gichk area of district Panjgur. Four people were forcibly disappeared on the same day of November 07 in three districts. Security forces abducted Rasheed Sardo, a shepherd, along with his son in the Gwarkop area of district Kech. Raziq was whisked away by plainclothes personnel from Old Road Kalat in district Mastung. while Tariq Bicho, a resident of Mashkay, was abducted by the Pakistani army in a military raid in Nakjo, Mashkay, district Awaran.
On November 13, Liaquat Noor Mohammad and Liaquat Safar were abducted by the forces from Askani Bazar of district Kech. Both are relatives of Ishaq Baloch, who was killed by the Pakistani military in Buleda, district Kech, on September 30.
In a separate incident, Riaz Jamaldini was whisked away by the security forces from Nushki Bazar, district Nushki. Riaz’s brother Amir had been abducted by the forces in the same manner in 2013; his mutilated body was later recovered.
