in which forces raided houses of Nasir, Abdul Karim and Mohammad Ali. Forces also burned down valuables of Nasir’s home and tortured his family while Asad was shot dead. On their return forces severely beat up Abdul Salam s/o Abdul Karim, a shopkeeper and abducted 4 innocent civilians who were tortured and later on released in the evening of the same day.

According to a local who wants to remain anonymous that Asad was going to his workplace when he saw the vehicles of forces heading towards their home. To avoid being beaten up he ran and forces opened fire and shot him dead. His father was ruthlessly beaten up in

2014 when forces raided Nasir’s and one of their neighbors’ houses and investigated about them. He was just an innocent man who worked hard to support his family.

“My son was dragged in front of my eyes after he was killed. Who did he harm?” said Asad’s mother. “There was one mobile and 300 PKR only in his pocket. When I insisted that he was innocent and just a peasant, one of the personnel replied that if he is a peasant than why he is

carrying a mobile phone? They took a photo of dead body after placing a gun and mobile beside him. They also took mobile phone with them and one of the personnel put 300 rupees in his pocket while returning back,” She added.

Balochistan is under heavy military operation for many years. In Balochistan,1809 people were abducted and 607 people were killed in 2016 only. Forces are free to kill and abduct anyone while government representatives and local media are silently witnessing.Thousands of

people have left their homes and migrated to different cities due to military operations on daily basis. 2700 people from 500 families have migrated from Kolwah, district Kech only.

Baloch Human Rights Organization appeals to international human rights organizations to consider the situation a serious humanitarian issue and send fact finding commissions to Balochistan in order to investigate human rights violations being committed by security forces.

Human Rights Council of Balochistan (Hakkpaan) is a non-profit and non-partisan human rights group based in Balochistan and Sweden. It collects reports from Balochistan, a region Pakistan government does not allow any media and HR group to visit and report. Human rights violations in Balochistan is not a new phenomenon, but it got its worst levels after the Military coup de tat of Pakistan in 1999. Thousands of Baloch have been reported missing, hundreds killed in fake encounters and so-called kill and dump policy of the military. HRCB collects the data from Balochistan itself, through its network of volunteers and supporters, organizes and reports them to the human rights mechanisms of the world.
