Balochistan: 105 people have been abducted in 9 days of December, 6 Mutilated bodies found

Pakistan security forces are carrying out massive military operation in all over Balochistan, especially on the route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Where ever the construction of the route is passing the villages are being forcefully emptied and people have migrated to different parts of Balochistan where they are living miserably, under extreme hot and cold weather. The people of Shapuk, Shahrak, Sami, Hirronk, Hoshab, Balgathar have vacant their houses and migrated to different areas of Balochistan and Sindh and those who don’t have enough money to migrate were left on the mercy of security forces.

In first 9 days of December, 2016, 105 people have been abducted so far from different areas of Balochistan and mostly from district Awaran and Kech where route of CPEC is going to pass. 6 people were also killed, among which 2 mutilated bodies were found from Chaman and Quetta respectively while 2 bullet riddled bodies were shifted by
security forces to Bolan Medical College on 09 December, 2016, the bodies are not been identified yet. In district Qalat 2 mutilated bodies were also found on 9 December, 2016, both bodies are beyond recognition.

The details of incidents which took place in last 9 days are as follows:

1^st December, 2016:

Forces raided Gwahrag Hussain Bazar Dasht, district Kech and abducted 6 people.

In another incident forces raided a house in Balicha, Tump, district Kech and abducted a student from his home

On the same day in Malan, Jhao forces abducted 5 people;

In another area of Jhao, district Awaran forces raided a house and abducted a person

2nd December, 2016

Security forces again surrounded Gwahrag Hussain Bazar in Dasht and abducted 7 people in which one person was not been identified yet.

In another incident on 2 December, 2016 forces abduct 2 brothers along with their truck in Kapkapar Dasht district Kech.

3^rd December, 2016:

3 people were abducted by security forces from Mashkay including 2 brothers. One of the abductees was not identified.

In another incident forces conducted military operation in Drachko and Solok Bazar and abducted 9 people. 2 people were released the next day while the other 7 abductees are still missing. Drachko and Solok Bazar both are villages of Dasht, district Kech.

4 December, 2016:

On 4^th December forces surrounded a football ground in Kerdgap Mastung and abducted 4 football players from the ground.

On the same day in Bal Nigwar Dasht, State forces arrested 4 vegetable sellers. 2 were later released while the other 2 are still missing while 3 other people were abducted from different villages of Dasht.

5 December, 2016

In district Awaran, forces abducted 4 people who were traveling from Malar to Mazaney Kali. The forces stopped their vehicles, tortured them in front of their families and took them away.

On the same day 4 people were abducted from Dasht in two different incidents. In Kapkapar forces arrested 3 brothers in which one of them was later released while 2 others are still missing. In Gwahrag Hussain Bazar forces abducted Jameel s/o Rahim Bakhsh. His two brothers Khalil and Naseer were abducted before on 2^nd Decemb er by forces in an operation.

On the same day security forces surrounded Kombail a village of Dasht, broke the only private clinic of Dr. Ghulam Rasool and took most of the medicine with them. Later forces abducted Babu s/o Syed from his home. His son Farooq was already in the custody of forces, abducted from Gwadar, port city of Balochistan few months ago.

7 December, 2016

Early Morning on 7^th December security forces sieged Sholi Dasht, looted all valuables from the houses and abducted 22 people.

8 December 2016

On 8 December forces conducted heavy military operation in many areas of District Awaran and abducted 33 people.

9 December, 2016

On 9^th December forces abducted a mechanic Naseer s/o Kulmir from Koh Posht, Mand district Kech.

The Pakistan security forces are given free hand to abduct and kill anyone anywhere in Balochistan. Abduction of 105 people in 9 days is self-evident of the seriousness of situation of human rights in Balochistan. Dasht is under heavy military operation from last 37 days in which forces abducted 180 people so far.  Dasht will join Iran with Pakistan and is part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
