On 13th of August 2016, Security forces handed over three dead bodies to Civil Hospital Quetta, Balochistan. Spokesman of Frontier Corps, a Pakistani Paramilitary force which controls the law and order situation in Balochistan, said in a news report that all three persons were killed in an exchange of fire between security forces and the ‘terrorists’.
Two of the three claimed ‘terrorists’ were identified as Gazzen Qambarani and Sulaiman Qambarani, both cousins. They were residents of Kili Qambarani in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
24 years old Gazzen Naseer Qambarani was the youngest among seven brothers and sisters. He was an active political worker and had been the President of Baloch Students Organization’s Islamabad zone in 2014.
In early Tuesday morning on 7th July, 2015, Frontier Corps (F.C) raided Kili Qambarani at around 07:00am, Pakistani time. After a house to house search, the forces took Gazzen Qambarani with them.
30 years old Sulaiman Habib Qambarani, the other ‘terrorist’ (according to FC) was killed in the aforementioned ‘battle’, was a gardener in Quetta Municipality. Sulaiman Qambarani , the father of three children, was picked up by the security forces on 10th July, 2015, from the same neighborhood in an evening raid by security forces.
A 22 year old student, Ayaz Qambarani was also abducted on the same day along with Sulaiman Qambarani. Ayaz is still in custody of security forces. His fate is unknown so far, as neither any news is heard about him nor his dead body found yet.
On August 19, 2016, Pakistan security forces handed over another three dead bodies in Awaran Public Hospital (Rural Health Centre). Security forces claimed that all three were killed in a battle with security forces.
The three persons were identified as:
Dilawar Sulaiman: 54 years old Dilawar Sulaiman was picked up by the security forces on August 13, 2016 during a house to house search operation in Jhakro area of Awaran, Balochistan and remained in custody of security forces till the time his dead body was handed over to the hospital by the forces.
Noor Bakhsh: Around 36 years old, Noor Bakhsh Khan Jan, was abducted on July 30, 2016 and was missing till he was claimed to be killed in an encounter with security forces on Friday, 19th August, 2016.
Murad Qasim: Murad has been in custody of security forces for more than a year. Local sources including his family confirm.
On August 22, security forces claimed to kill three persons during a house to house search operation in Sakuran, Hub Balochistan. One of the three is named as Razaak Mari.
Hasil Jamil Ahmad, a 36 year old Driver r/o Dansar, Libach, Awaran, Balochistan was abducted from main bazar of Awaran, on 23rd August. He was dragged to the military truck by security forces, in front of all the public. And his body was handed over to Awaran Hospital on 24th August, claiming that he was killed in a battle between ‘terrorists’ (including him) and the security forces.
