Baloch Human Rights Organization’s representative condemns incidents of enforced disappearances and extra judicial killing of women in different areas of Balochistan and said that in Balochistan, instead of respecting human rights, indiscriminate operations of forces are extremely affecting women. Forces during operations, are not only violating the dignity of houses, torturing women and children but due to indiscriminate firing, tragic incidents of casualties of women and children are increasing day by day. Even after many appeals and reports from human rights activists and organizations, government is silent and not holding forces accountable for extra judicial executions of women and children. Due to lack of attention and interest of Government, forces are committing such incidents repeatedly.

ugust 17. Other than this, 2 women got injured in forces’ firing in Harnai, Balochistan.

They were taken to local hospital for treatment by their families but as per our sources security forces allegedly abducted these women from hospital and even after passage of three days, their whereabouts remains unknown. This is not the first incident, women were abducted and extra judicially executed by forces in past too but media and government is silent on these incidents. If forces are allowed to further conduct such operations and brutalities, such incident will take place increasingly fast, which are serious human rights violations.

Baloch Human Rights Organizations demands from human rights activist to raise effective voice to stop forces from such incidents, enforced disappearances of people and firing and bombing on local populace of Balochistan so that the continuing human rights violations in Balochistan could be stop.

Human Rights Council of Balochistan (Hakkpaan) is a non-profit and non-partisan human rights group based in Balochistan and Sweden. It collects reports from Balochistan, a region Pakistan government does not allow any media and HR group to visit and report. Human rights violations in Balochistan is not a new phenomenon, but it got its worst levels after the Military coup de tat of Pakistan in 1999. Thousands of Baloch have been reported missing, hundreds killed in fake encounters and so-called kill and dump policy of the military. HRCB collects the data from Balochistan itself, through its network of volunteers and supporters, organizes and reports them to the human rights mechanisms of the world.
