Monthly Human Rights Report on Balochistan: 65 Enforced Disappearances and 50 Killings Recorded in March 2026
In March 2026, the human rights situation in Balochistan reflected continued patterns of enforced disappearances and killings across multiple districts. A total of 65 enforced disappearance cases were documented during the month, with students emerging as the largest affected group. The victims included one woman and nine teenagers, while the majority of cases were reported from Kech and Quetta. Frontier Corps remained the primary alleged perpetrator, followed by other state authorities. Only a limited number of individuals reportedly returned during the same period.
Alongside this, 50 killings were recorded across the region. These included 14 individuals who had previously been subjected to enforced disappearance and were later reported killed while in custody. Other fatalities were attributed to a combination of incidents involving shootings and mortar shelling linked to FC personnel, as well as target killings carried out by state-sponsored death squads and unidentified armed actors.
Enforced Disappearances
During the reporting period, a total of 65 cases of enforced disappearance were documented, including 10 cases carried over from previous months. Among the victims, 64 were men and one was a woman. As of the end of the reporting period, 16 individuals had resurfaced, while the majority remain unaccounted for.
House raids constituted the primary method of abduction, accounting for 50 of the 65 cases. A smaller number of incidents occurred during formal detention (10 cases), while 5 individuals were taken from checkpoints.
Regarding attribution, Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were linked to 35 cases, followed by intelligence agencies in 19 cases. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) was involved in 7 cases, death squads in 3, and Rangers in 1 case.
Students represent the most affected group, with 25 cases recorded. They are followed by drivers and shopkeepers (4 cases each), labourers (3), and businessmen (2). The remaining victims belong to a range of individual professions, each recorded only once. In 19 cases, the professional background of the victims could not be verified.
Geographically, Kech reported the highest number of cases (17), followed by Gwadar (9) and Panjgur (8). Nushki and Karachi each accounted for 6 cases, while Quetta recorded 4. Hub and Khuzdar reported 3 cases each. Lower numbers were recorded in Sibi, Surab, Punjab, Lasbela, and Kharan.

March 01
- Faheem Sumalani, son of Muhammad Usman, a 25-year-old student, resident of Gelani Road, Quetta, was forcibly disappeared from his home by FC and MI.
- Ayesha, daughter of Lal Jan, and Dawood, son of Ibrahim, students, residents of Ali Muhammad Mohalla, Kalari area, Lyari, Karachi, were taken into custody during a raid conducted by FC.
March 02
- Safar Khan Baloch, son of Muhammad Ali, 27, shopkeeper, resident of Killi Qambrani, Quetta, was forcibly disappeared from his home by CTD.
- Ali Ahmad, son of Altaf, 17, student, Rahim Bakhsh, son of Kareem Bakhsh, 45, businessman, Abdul Rehman, son of Barkat Ali, 18, shopkeeper, Asif, son of Chairman Islam, 17, student, and Yasir, son of Baloch Khan, 19, student, residents of Minaz Buleda, Kech, were forcibly disappeared from their homes by FC.
- Shoaib Ahmed Qambrani, son of Muhammad Bakhsh Qambrani, 17, student, resident of Killi Qambrani, was forcibly disappeared from his home by CTD.
- Shams Baloch, son of Haji Qadir Bakhsh, 22, student, resident of Zehri Shar, Khuzdar, was forcibly disappeared from his home by FC.
March 03
- Zameer Ahmed, son of Nasir Baloch, student, resident of Taar Office area, Panjgur, was forcibly disappeared after being taken by MI, his body was later recovered on March 11, 2026, in Washap, Panjgur.
- Muhammad Amir and Liaqat Ali, sons of Jumma Khan, Muhammad Amir, labourer in Saudi Arabia, and Liaqat Ali, shopkeeper, residents of Killi Shekhan Dernali, Naal, Khuzdar, were forcibly disappeared from their home by CTD.
- Hazib, son of Shaukat, 17, student, resident of Panwan Jiwani, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared from his home by FC and MI.
- Murad Ameen, son of Muhammad Ameen, 17, and Munwar Akhtar, son of Akhtar Ghulam, 15, both students and residents of Apsar, Turbat, Kech, were forcibly disappeared from their home by FC and MI.
- Yahya Baloch, son of Fazal Karim, 17, student, resident of Khudabadan Mawach, was forcibly disappeared from Khudabadan Kohe Metag by FC and death squads, his body was later recovered at FC Camp, Panjgur.
- Abdul Basit, son of Muhammad Saeed, 23, a driver from Gowak Mand, Kech, was forcibly disappeared from Baloch Hospital, Turbat, by MI. He was later released on April 21.

- Durra, son of Qadir Bakhsh, and Mehraj Baloch, son of Shikari Ahmed, resident of Basol Kahn Pidark, Kech, were forcibly disappeared from their home by FC.
March 07
- Abdul Wahab, son of Abdul Ghani, 27, student, resident of Saraij Gresha, Naal, Khuzdar, was forcibly disappeared from Faisal Town Block D, Lahore, by CTD, ISI, and MI, he was later released on March 10.
- Ismail Rachar, son of Hassan, resident of Hoor Geshkore, Awaran, and Israr Baloch, were forcibly disappeared in Hub Chowki, Balochistan, by FC while traveling from Hub City to Nival, Karachi.

- Abdullah, son of Hakeem Baloch, 16, student, resident of Panwan, Jiwani, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared from his home by FC and MI.
- Fahad, son of Akhtar, 20, peon, resident of Patan e Kahoor, Turbat, Kech, was forcibly disappeared from Dannuk area of Turbat, by FC.

- Kambar, son of Imam Baloch, 18, resident of Panwan Jiwani, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared from his home by FC and MI.

- Jasif, son of Arif, 22, resident of Dumb Irap, Tasp, Panjgur, was forcibly disappeared by a death squad from his hometown.
- Khalid Habib, son of Habib Ullah, 39, real estate dealer, resident of Solo Buleda, Kech, was forcibly disappeared from Jusak Sari Kahn area of Turbat, Kech, by FC.
March 12
- Saifullah, son of Attaullah, 21, mechanic, resident of Killi Qambrani, Saryab Road, Quetta, was forcibly disappeared from Manojan Road, Khalifa Chowk, Quetta, by CTD, ISI, and MI.
- Nizam Baloch, son of Muhammad Bajar, resident of Sangabad, Kech, was forcibly disappeared from his home during a late night raid by FC.
March 13
- Majid, son of Ghulam Muhammad, 20, student, resident of Panwan, Jiwani, was forcibly disappeared from his home by FC and MI.
March 14
- Balach, son of Piral, and Balach, son of Naseer, residents of Nasirabad, Turbat, were taken away by FC during a night operation and shifted to an unknown location.
- Abdul Ghani, son of Abdul Hafeez Kabadani, resident of Kharan city, was forcibly disappeared near a police station in Kharan city by intelligence agencies who arrived in a Surf vehicle.
March 16
- Muhsin, son of Muslim, 21, driver, Yahya, son of Muhammad Yaseen, 20, driver, and Abdul Ahad, son of Mullah Nizar, 24, driver, residents of Suleman Bazar Paroom, Panjgur, were forcibly disappeared from Jeerak Crossing Point in Paroom, by FC.
- Asim, son of Asgar, 23, businessman, resident of Panwan Jiwani, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared from a football ground in Shahali Goth Sharafi, Karachi, by Rangers.
March 17
- Muhammad Marri, son of Jawan Sal, and Lehru Marri, son of Mattu, residents of Lodi, Gajak, and Galu areas of Sibi district, were forcibly disappeared during a raid by FC after house searches.
March 18
- Mumtaz Baloch, son of Dilbod, 26, student of Balochi literature at UoB, resident of Zeek Gishkore, Awaran, was forcibly disappeared from Kolowahi Bazar Apsar, Turbat by FC and was later released on April 1.
March 21
- Abdullah, son of Abul Wahid, 19, student, resident of Kahn Zangi area, Panjgur, was forcibly disappeared from Washbod area, Panjgur, by state backed death squad members.
March 26
- Abid Baloch, son of Dil Murad, 18, student, resident of Jaho, Awaran, was forcibly disappeared for the second time from Bypass Road, Hub Chowki by CTD.
- Zeeshan, son of Khaleel Ahmed, 20, a student from Tasp, Panjgur, was forcibly disappeared from his home by FC.
March 27
- Advocate Yasir Lal, son of Dr. Aziz Lal, resident of Pasni tehsil, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared from his home by FC.
March 28
- Noor Khan, son of Nazar Muhammad, 21, student, resident of Sardasht area of Kulanch, Pasni, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared for the second time from Van Stop Pasni, Gwadar by MI.
- Zafar Baloch, son of Ghulam Hussain, shopkeeper, originally from Gandchai Kolowa, Awaran, was forcibly disappeared from his residence in Windar area, Lasbela.
- Waheed Baloch, son of Muhammad Iqbal, Akram Baloch, son of Haji Alam Khan, Sattar Baloch, son of Abdul Khaliq, and Abdul Ghaffar Baloch, son of Abdul Khaliq, residents of Surab, were forcibly disappeared during a raid by FC. Sattar Baloch and Abdul Ghaffar Baloch belonged to the Surkh area. They were held in custody for three days and were later released on March 31 at Main RCD Road, Surab.
March 31
- Shayhaq, son of Rahim Baksh, 17, student, resident of Minaz, Buleda, Kech, was forcibly disappeared from Main Bazar, Turbat by a death squad, and his bullet riddled body was later recovered from Pasni Link Road area, Banok e Chadai, Turbat on April 5.
- Sharoz, son of Abdul Qayoum, 31, labourer, resident of Shali Methag Malir, Karachi, was forcibly disappeared from his home by Rangers.
Undocumented Cases from the Previous Months and Year:
- Ehsan, son of Rasheed Ahmed, 22, unemployed, Farhan, son of Master Ismail, 19, Umair, son of Meer Ahmed, 18, labourer, Sadiq Baloch, son of Aziz Ahmed, 33, head Moharir in police, and Zia Ullah, son of Master Mubarak, 26, police sepoy, residents of Killi Jamaldini, Nushki, were forcibly disappeared in separate incidents from Killi Jamaldini, Nushki between 13 and 20 February 2026 by FC, and police.
- Syed Naveed Ahmed Shah, son of Syed Tahir Shah, resident of Killi Qazi Abad, Nushki, was forcibly disappeared from his residence on 9 February 2026.
- Jumait Lal, son of Lal Bakhsh, 22, resident of Rek Pusht Pasni, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared from Ward No 7, by the FC on 4 February 2026.
- Haseeb Baloch, son of Wahid, graduate student of Lasbela University, resident of Pasni area, Gwadar, was forcibly disappeared by FC from his residence on 4 February 2026.
- Imran, son of Khadim Hussain, 26, student of MLT at Sindh University, resident of Naal, Khuzdar, was forcibly disappeared from Surab Ghot, Karachi, by CTD on 20 December 2025.
- Shabir Baloch, son of Haji Qadir Bakhsh, 24, health worker, resident of Zehri Shar, Khuzdar, was forcibly disappeared from Nursing Hostel, Karachi, by CTD and MI on 13 November 2025.
Killings
During March, 50 killings were documented across Balochistan. The victims included 44 men and 6 women, while the identities of 7 individuals could not be verified.
Targeted killings constituted the most prevalent form of violence, accounting for 25 cases. Custodial killings followed with 14 cases. Other reported forms of violence included mortar attacks and shootings by security forces (6 cases), along with body recoveries (5 cases).
In terms of attribution, 17 cases were linked to unknown perpetrators. FC personnel and death squads were each implicated in 14 cases. Intelligence agencies were linked to 3 incidents, while the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) was associated with 2 cases.
Geographically, Kech recorded the highest number of killings (18), followed by Panjgur (12) and Awaran (9). Kharan reported 4 cases, Quetta 3, and Khuzdar 2, while Khudabadan and Mastung each recorded one incident.
Breakdown of Incidents:
1- Extrajudicial Killings:
During the month, 14 forcibly disappeared individuals in custody of security forces were extrajudicially killed by security forces, intelligence agencies, and their affiliated death squads. Separately, three individuals were killed in FC mortar shelling, while three others were shot dead on the spot by FC personnel.
1.1. Custodial Killings of Victims of Enforced Disappearance:
March 03:
- Yahya Baloch, son of Noor Muhammad, a 17-year-old driver from Paroom, Panjgur, was forcibly disappeared on 1 October 2025 at approximately 7:30 PM from Airport Road, Chitkan, Panjgur, by a death squad. He belonged to a low-income family and had taken on financial responsibilities at a young age. After remaining missing for six months, his dead body was recovered from the Washbood area of Panjgur.
March 04:
- Fateh Baloch, son of Shahdad, a civilian driver from Mewar, Mashkay, was forcibly disappeared on 13 January 2026 while transporting passengers near the Main Army Camp in Mashkay. FC personnel stopped his vehicle in front of the camp and took him inside. His detention was later acknowledged to his family, and his father was reportedly warned that he would be killed. After nearly one and a half months in disappearance, his bullet-riddled body was found in the Mashkay River on 4 March 2026.
- Yahya Baloch, son of Fazal Karim, a 17-year-old student from Khudabadan Mawach, was forcibly disappeared on 3 March 2026 after being taken from his home in Khudabadan Kohe Metag by a death squad accompanied by FC personnel. His body was later recovered from the FC Camp in Panjgur.
March 05:
- A total of four bodies were recovered on 5 March 2026, two of which remain unidentified. Among the identified victims was Ganj Bakhsh, son of Meeran, a Zamyad driver from Zeek Geshkore in Awaran district. He was forcibly disappeared by the FC on 27 December 2025 from the Gardai Kolowa military checkpoint. After more than two months in custody, his tortured body was returned to his family. Baqi Imam, who was detained in the same context, remains missing.
- Sherjan Baloch, son of Zabad Baloch and a resident of Jhao, Korak, was forcibly disappeared on 21 November 2025 after being taken by intelligence agencies from Hub Chowk market. His body was later recovered from the Tertij area of Awaran on 5 March 2026.
- Nadil Baloch, son of Zabad, was abducted on 23 November 2025 by FC personnel from Khwaja-e-Bagh Bazaar in Jhao and subsequently subjected to enforced disappearance. After months in custody, his body was recovered from the Jhao area of Korak, Awaran, on 5 March 2026. He was the brother of Sherjan Baloch, who had also been abducted and was killed on the same day, 5 March 2026, along with three others.
March 06:
- Haleem Baloch, son of Muhammad Sadiq, a 30-year-old shopkeeper from Panjgur, was abducted on 19 February 2026 by a state-backed death squad from Khudabadan Masjid in Panjgur. He was a civilian and the primary earner for his family. His body was later recovered from the Panjgur Airport area and was identified by his family at Civil Hospital Panjgur.
March 11:
- Zameer Ahmed, son of Nasir Baloch, a student and resident of the Taar Office area in Panjgur city, was abducted by MI personnel after offering prayers. His body was later dumped in the Washap area of Panjgur.
March 08:
- Mehboob Baloch, son of Amanullah, a resident of Guwargu, Panjgur, had been forcibly disappeared approximately eight months earlier. He was later killed while in the custody of the FC.
March 26:
- Yawar Baloch, son of Habib Baloch, an 18-year-old tailor from Humari Kahn area of Shapuk, was abducted by secret agencies on 16 June 2025 outside the High Court after attending a hearing with his father, from whom he was taken in broad daylight. Despite protests by his family the following day, including a blockade of the CPEC road and official assurances of his release within seven days, he was not returned. His body was later dumped.
March 28:
- Israr Baloch, son of Tariq Baloch, was taken into custody by FC approximately four months earlier from a hotel in the Chah-Sar area of Turbat, after which his whereabouts remained unknown. His bullet-riddled body was later found in the Keisak area of Turbat.
1.2. Killings Resulted from FC Mortar Shelling on Civilian areas:
- On 31 March 2026, a fatal incident was reported in Bangul Bazar, Kolwah, in the Mallar area of Awaran. Following an attack on a nearby military camp by Baloch separatist groups, security forces allegedly deployed heavy weaponry in the vicinity of civilian areas. A mortar shell hit a residential house, killing three members of the same family instantly: Muhammad Umar (60), his wife Faiza (57), and their daughter Mahzaib Baloch, a fifth-grade student.
- In a separate incident, two individuals were reportedly killed in a drone strike carried out by the Army in the Suhanda area of Zehri, Khuzdar. Local residents reported that the strike spread widespread fear and panic across the area.
1.3. Fatal shootings by FC personnel:
March 06:
- Hammal Hassani, son of Samad Hassani and a practicing advocate, was shot dead by FC personnel in the Koh Sabz Palantak area of Panjgur.
March 22:
- In the Killi Karez Soor area of Mastung, FC personnel reportedly conducted a raid on a residential house and shot Muhammad Amir, son of Dil Murad, after forcibly taking him outside. According to his family, no warrant was presented and no legal procedure was followed. They further allege that his body was returned nearly 12 hours later, after they were compelled to sign documents without being allowed to read them.
March 27:
- Obaidullah Baloch, a 30-year-old farmer from Surab district, was shot dead by FC personnel near Hajika Cross while returning home. He earned his livelihood through farming. Following the incident, FC personnel reportedly labeled him a suspect.
2. Target Killings:
During the month, 25 cases of targeted killing were documented. Of these, 11 were attributed to state-backed local militias, 12 to unknown assailants, and 2 to Baloch militants. Two of the victims had previously been subjected to enforced disappearance and later released. They were later killed by death squads operating with complete impunity and alleged coordination with security forces. The presence of these militias has increased in recent months, with a clear surge in cases involving abductions followed by killings attributed to them.
2.1. Target Killings by State-Sponsored Death Squads:
March 1:
Talib Nazeer, a Balochi-language singer and shopkeeper from the Minaz area of Buleda, Kech, was shot dead by a death squad while sitting in his shop.
March 4:
Hatum Baloch, son of Khuda Bakhsh, a 26-year-old shopkeeper from Shapuk, was killed when members of dead squads in a white car lured him out of his shop and opened fire as he attempted to flee.
On the same day, Dilawar Khan, son of Lal Bakhsh, a resident of Nodiz, Turbat, and a lecturer at the Sub-Campus of the University of Balochistan in Kharan, was targeted by a death squad in front of the Sub-Campus Kharan and killed on the spot. His colleague, Bilal Ahmed, son of Ghulam Jan and a resident of Panjgur, sustained critical injuries. He was initially shifted to Sheikh Zaid Hospital in Kharan and later transferred to Quetta for further treatment.
March 5:
Three young drivers from Sabzal Bazar, Paroom, Niaz Baloch (20), son of Haji Allah Bakhsh; Zakir Baloch, son of Abdin; and Umar Jan, son of Ali, were reportedly killed by a death squad in the Kaleri area of Paroom. All three earned their livelihood as drivers in the border region to support their families. Following the incident, their bodies were taken to the Paroom military camp, where families were later instructed to collect them. Upon arrival, security personnel pressured the families to sign documents declaring the victims as “terrorists” and linking them to anti-state activities. The families refused to comply and rejected the allegations. The bodies were handed over on 6 March 2026.
March 8:
Asif Baloch, son of Nazeer, an 18-year-old driver and resident of Singabad, was shot dead by death squads. He was a civilian engaged in driving work to support his family.
March 9:
Muhammad Ismail, a 24-year-old shopkeeper and laborer, son of Lashkari Khan Kubduani and resident of Kharan, was shot dead by death squads at approximately 8:15 AM in Kharan. He had previously been subjected to enforced disappearance in April 2025 and released in January 2026.
March 10:
Abdullah Baloch, son of Karim Jan, a 27-year-old resident of Mawach in Panjgur, was shot dead by death squads at around 5:30 PM at Mawach Chowk.
March 20:
Abdullah, a 23-year-old driver and son of Haji Dad Muhammad from Reesh Pesh Paroom, was shot dead by death squads in Panjgur.
March 28:
Faraz Baloch, son of Riaz Ahmed and resident of the Duzap area in Panjgur, was targeted during an attempted forced abduction at his home. According to reports, he was shot when he tried to escape and sustained critical injuries.
2.2. Target Killings by Unknown Gunmen:
March 2:
Three individuals, including a child and a woman, were killed in a firing incident carried out by unknown assailants near Saddam Phatak in the Sariab Mal area of Quetta.
March 4:
Sanaullah, son of Sabzal and a resident of Gogdan, was shot dead by unknown armed men in the Dank area of Turbat.
March 12:
Mullah Imam, son of Muhammad Bakhsh, and Sikandar, son of Aslam, were shot dead while working in their fields at night when unknown armed men opened fire on them. Both died on the spot, and the attackers fled the scene.
2.3. Unreported Incident of Target Killing (February 2026):
On 24 February, unknown motorcyclists attacked the house of Abdul Hameed, son of Dad Muhammad, in the Minaz area of Buleda, Kech. According to police sources, the assailants used mortar shells followed by indiscriminate firing, resulting in the killing of six people, including a woman and children: Muslim, son of Charshambe; Mullah Yousuf, son of Muhammad Sharif; Fadila, wife of Abdul Ghaffar; one-year-old Gul Naz; six-year-old Zahra; and four-year-old Chengiz. Three others, Abdul Ghaffar and his daughters Sarah and Ayesha, sustained injuries in the attack. Three vehicles parked at the residence were also set on fire. The attackers fled the scene.
2.4. Target Killings by Separatist Groups:
March 4:
Muslim, son of Ismail and resident of Konshkalat, Tump, was shot dead by two unidentified motorcyclists. He died on the spot. The BLF later claimed responsibility, alleging that he was a state agent.
March 12:
Pervez, son of Nik Bakht, was killed in the Absar area of Turbat. The BLF later claimed responsibility, stating that he had previously surrendered to Pakistani forces and was working as an informer.
3. Recovered Dead Bodies:
March 11:
Police recovered the bullet-riddled body of Sharif, son of Chengiz, from the Hoshap area of Turbat and shifted it to a hospital. He had been abducted a day earlier by unknown armed men on a motorcycle and was later found shot dead.
On the same day, a body recovered from the Rakhshan River in Panjgur was identified as Shah Jahan, son of Rehmatullah and a resident of Kalat.
March 14:
The body of a man identified as Naveed, son of Murad Muhammad and a resident of Nasirabad, was recovered from the Nasirabad area of Turbat.
March 22:
Saad Sasoli and Ahmed Muhammad Hassani were identified among the deceased whose bodies were recovered after they were reportedly abducted by armed men during a clash in Barshoni.
Other Incidents
Police Block Press Conference by Families of Detained BYC Leaders in Quetta
On 2 March, families of detained Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leaders attempted to hold a press conference at the Quetta Press Club to raise concerns regarding detention, legal procedures, and health conditions. However, Quetta police and administration surrounded the venue and prevented the gathering, blocking relatives of detained leaders, including Mahrang Baloch. A subsequent attempt to address the media outside the press club was also reportedly obstructed.
Curfew Imposed in Zehri Disrupted Civilian Life
On 3 March, a curfew was imposed by the army in the Zehri area of Khuzdar district, halting markets, businesses, transport, and public movement. Thousands of residents were confined to their homes, severely disrupting daily life. According to local sources, the restrictions led to shortages of essential goods, including food, flour, milk, vegetables, and medicines. The shutdown of economic activity also placed significant financial pressure on residents, particularly daily wage workers.
Seema Baloch Among Individuals Placed on Fourth Schedule in Hub
Human rights defender Seema Baloch was placed on the Fourth Schedule list along with 15 others in Hub. The list also included Maheen Altaf, a 15-year-old girl.
ATC Quetta Declared 12 Individuals Proclaimed Offenders
On 8 March, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Quetta declared 12 individuals as proclaimed offenders in a case, including Dr. Sabiha Baloch, Gulzar Dost Baloch, and Dr. Shali Baloch.
Journalist Booked Under Terrorism Charges in Quetta
The CTD registered a case against journalist Niaz Baloch over the alleged sharing of a speech by Mahrang Baloch on social media. The journalist stated that he is a student from a modest background, adding that his father works as a bus driver while his younger siblings are enrolled in university and college.
Woman Previously Taken Into Custody Presented as “Suicide Bomber”
Farzana Baloch, who had been taken into custody by forces from Khuzdar on 1 December 2025 while returning home from a hospital, was later presented before the media as a suicide bomber in March 2026. Military Operation in Laghar, Surab
On 9 March, forces conducted a large-scale operation in and around Laghar, Surab. Multiple houses were reportedly raided during the operation, with extensive searches carried out across residential areas. Local sources stated that heavy deployment of personnel surrounded the locality, forcibly entered homes, and caused damage to doors, windows, and household belongings. Residents also alleged mistreatment of women and children during the raids.
Late-Night Raid at Residence of Activist in Turbat
A late-night raid was conducted at the residence of human rights and BYC political activist Syad Bibi Baloch in Turbat, by personnel of MI and FC, on 12 March. Family members present in the house were reportedly subjected to harassment during the operation. Her name had been placed on the Fourth Schedule on 16 October 2025, and she had been regularly appearing before the CTD for attendance marking in compliance with legal requirements at the time of the raid.
Repeated Night Raids and Alleged Seizure of Property in Gogdan, Turbat
Multiple night raids were conducted by Pakistani forces in the Gogdan area of Turbat, including a third raid on the residence of former councilor Ali Faqir Singhor and another reported raid on the house of Lal Bakhsh Adam. The operation took place around 2 AM on 12 March, during which doors and cupboards were reportedly broken and family members were verbally abused. Women were also allegedly mistreated during the raids. The families stated that a Honda 125 motorcycle, a mobile phone, and Eid clothing taken during earlier raids had not been returned.

In Mochan Kapar, Kantani, a remote area of Gwadar, individuals dependent on cross-border trade reportedly faced economic hardship during the month of Ramadan after fuel, described by locals as a primary source of livelihood, was burned by Pakistani authorities on 8 March.
